Abstract: Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) progression is complex and multifactorial. Identifying genetic markers associated with neurodegenerative progression is essential for preventative measures and early treatment. Here, we associated single-nucleotide polymorphisms with a progression-based imaging phenotype in a cohort of subjects at a high risk of developing AD. Mapping significantly associated SNPs to adjacent genes, we identified enriched pathways with reported associations to AD. This methodology can be extended to be used as a clinical risk estimation tool for AD progression.

Learning Objective: To associate single-nucleotide polymorphisms with a progression-based imaging phenotype in a cohort of subjects at high risk of developing AD.
