I am a seasoned informaticist and a leader with over 15 years of driving and facilitating progressive informatics initiatives in healthcare and medical research. I specialize in formalizing of medical knowledge and data to make that knowledge available, usable, and analyzable by humans and computer systems. I focus on integration, standardization, and quality assurance of bio-medical and clinical data from heterogeneous sources for enabling performance analysis, translational and comparative effectiveness research, and identifying cohorts for prospective studies . I am a natural problem solver with an exceptional ability to analyze and understand complex problems and transform objectives and ideas into practical solutions. My education in computer engineering and statistics, experience, and deep knowledge of the bio-medical field provide me with unique set of skills for developing strategic systemic approaches to problem solving and project management. I pride myself on my ability to establish effective sustainable collaborations between multidisciplinary teams on all business levels. I have several peer-reviewed papers, abstracts, and conference presentations. I am a long time AMIA member and OHDSI collaborator.
